Function
Cytokine that in its homotrimeric form binds to TNFRSF1A/TNFR1, TNFRSF1B/TNFBR and TNFRSF14/HVEM (By similarity). In its heterotrimeric form with LTB binds to TNFRSF3/LTBR. Lymphotoxin is produced by lymphocytes and is cytotoxic for a wide range of tumor cells in vitro and in vivo.

Mouse TNF beta SimpleStep ELISA® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of TNF beta protein in Serum, Cit plasma, EDTA Plasma, Hep Plasma, and Cell culture supernatant. Quantitate Mouse TNF beta with 2.7 pg/ml sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. Interpolated concentration of native TNF beta was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are 50% treated mouse spleen supernatant (treated with PMA 40 ng/mL + calcium ionomycin 500 ng/mL for 3d) and 50% untreated mouse spleen supernatant. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS.
