Cytokine that in its homotrimeric form binds to TNFRSF1A/TNFR1, TNFRSF1B/TNFBR and TNFRSF14/HVEM (By similarity). In its heterotrimeric form with LTB binds to TNFRSF3/LTBR. Lymphotoxin is produced by lymphocytes and is cytotoxic for a wide range of tumor cells in vitro and in vivo.

Interpolated concentration of native TNF beta was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are 50% treated mouse spleen supernatant (treated with PMA 40 ng/mL + calcium ionomycin 500 ng/mL for 3d) and 50% untreated mouse spleen supernatant. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS.
