Anti-Ramucirumab ELISA Kit ab282899 is a anti-drug antibody (ADA) ELISA to detect antibodies Anti-Ramucirumab in serum and plasma.

How the assay works:

Note: Anti-Ramucirumab ELISA kit ab282899 is intended for Research Use Only, not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Controls and samples are incubated in the microtiter plate coated with the drug Ramucirumab. After incubation, the wells are washed and the enzymatic activity is detected by the addition of chromogen-substrate. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated with an acidic stop solution. The color developed is proportional to the amount of antibodies specific for Ramucirumab present in the samples and controls. The qualitative test results can be evaluated using cut-off value.
Cross Reactivity: Except for Ramucirumab, there is no cross reaction with other therapeutic antibodies and native serum immunoglobins.

Anti-Ramucirumab ELISA Kit ab282899 protocol summary

1. Add Negative Control, Positive Control and diluted samples into the respective wells of a microtiter plate
2. Incubate at room temperature for 60 minutes
3. Wash
4. Add the HRP-conjugated probe into each well. Incubate at room temperature for 60 minutes.
5. Wash
6. Add TMB substrate solution and incubate the plate in the dark at room temperature for 20 minutes.
7. Add stop solution
8. Read the absorbance in a microplate reader set to 450 nm within 30 minutes of pipetting the Stop solution. (Use reference wavelength as 650 nm).

This product is manufactured by BioVision, an Abcam company and was previously called E4870 BioSim™ anti-Ramucirumab (Human) ELISA Kit. E4870-100 is the same size as the 1 x 96 tests size of ab282899.
