Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed using ab208572 (Universal HIER antigen retrieval reagent) The section was incubated by Rapid DAB Detection System (ab290116) after antigen retrieval. Product details

Rapid DAB Detection System (ab290116) is a powerful Intensification system that significantly enhances chromogenic signals. This system can be integrated into standard immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining methods.

Rapid DAB Detection System is an enzyme-mediated reaction that utilizes horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to catalyze the deposition of two separate Linkers applied sequentially onto tissue sections or cell preparation. The deposited Linkers can be detected with a streptavidin-peroxidase conjugate followed by a reaction with a peroxidase substrate/chromogen solution such as diaminobenzidine (DAB).

This system results in a significant increase in sensitivity compared to standard IHC detection methods, while maintaining similar specificity
