VEGFC Antibody Pair - BSA and Azide free (ab303709 is a matched pair of unconjugated recombinant rabbit monoclonal capture and detection antibodies used to quantify human, mouse and rat VEGFC in sandwich ELISAs and many other pair-based applications.

Biological function summary
VEGFC contributes to the regulation of vascular and lymphatic endothelial cell functions. It is not known to be part of a larger protein complex but exerts its functions through interactions with receptors such as VEGFR-3. By promoting cell proliferation and migration VEGFC assists in the repair and regeneration of tissues. Its role in fluid balance is essential as it helps maintain tissue equilibrium and immune function.
Pathways
VEGFC is integral to the VEGF signaling and lymphatic vessel development pathways. Within these processes VEGFC works alongside other proteins such as VEGFA and VEGFB to modulate vascular permeability and vessel formation. The interaction between VEGFC and the VEGFR-3 receptor specifically mediates lymphatic endothelial cell activation and function linking it to vital physiological processes like inflammation and tissue repair.
