Ankrd26 also known as Ankyrin Repeat Domain 26 is a protein encoded by the ANKRD26 gene. It has a molecular mass of roughly 216 kDa. Detection of endogenous Ankrd26 protein in MES cell
lysates may occur when detection methods with higher
sensitivity are used. An observed band of ~81kDa has been obtained due to a fragment of Ankrd26 being used instead of the full length version.
