ARHGEF3 also known as Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 3 functions in the regulation of Rho GTPases by accelerating the GDP-GTP exchange. ARHGEF3 weighs approximately 105 kDa and plays a significant role in cellular processes that require cytoskeletal reorganization. It is broadly expressed in various tissues particularly within hematopoietic cells and the bone marrow.
Biological function summary

The regulatory role of ARHGEF3 impacts the actin cytoskeleton which is fundamental for cell shape and movement. ARHGEF3 activates RhoA and other Rho GTPases which are important for the formation of stress fibers and focal adhesions.
