Supplier Data

ChIP - Anti-BACH1 Antibody (AB327225)

ChIP-Exo-Seq composite graph for ab327225 tested in K562 cells at 1–10 µg per reaction. Strand-specific reads (blue : forward, red : reverse) and IgG controls (black : forward, grey : reverse) are plotted against the distance from a composite set of reference binding sites. The antibody exhibits robust target enrichment compared to a non-specific IgG control and precisely reveals its structural organization around the binding site. Data generated by Prof. B. F. Pugh´s Lab at Cornell University.

Target data

Transcriptional regulator that acts as a repressor or activator, depending on the context. Binds to NF-E2 DNA binding sites. Plays important roles in coordinating transcription activation and repression by MAFK (By similarity). Together with MAF, represses the transcription of genes under the control of the NFE2L2 oxidative stress pathway (PubMed : 24035498).
