It is a cofactor that primarily interacts with Aurora A kinase to promote activation. Bora protein weighs around 58 kilodaltons and is notably expressed in various tissues including those involved in cell division activities such as the reproductive organs and the skin.
Biological function summary

Bora protein's primary role involves cell cycle progression and the maintenance of genomic integrity.
