Immunoprecipitation - Anti-C3orf26 antibody (AB241582)
C3orf26 was immunoprecipitated from HEK-293T (human epithelial cell line from embryonic kidney transformed with large T antigen) whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) with ab241582 at 6 μg/reaction. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab241582 at 1 μg/ml.
Lane 1 : ab241582 IP in HEK-293T whole cell lysate.
Lane 2 : Control IgG IP in HEK-293T whole cell lysate.
Detection : Chemiluminescence with exposure time of 3 minutes.

Biological function summary
C3orf26 plays a potential role in regulating intracellular processes that are significant for cellular homeostasis. Although its biological function needs precise definition some studies suggest that it might interact with components involved in RNA metabolism. C3orf26 has not been confirmed as part of any specific complex but predictive models indicate possible interactions with proteins involved in RNA splicing and transcriptional regulation.
Pathways
C3orf26's indirect involvement centers around gene expression and RNA processing pathways. This protein may interact with RNA-binding proteins and factors such as PRPF4B implicated in pre-mRNA splicing and transcription regulation processes. These pathways are critical for maintaining proper cellular functions and gene expression patterns which suggest pivotal roles for proteins like C3orf26 in these systems.
