Immunoprecipitation - Anti-C5orf25 antibody (AB241985)
C5orf25 was immunoprecipitated from HEK-293T (human epithelial cell line from embryonic kidney transformed with large T antigen) whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) using ab241985 at 8 μL per reaction. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab241985 at 1/1000 dilution.
Lane 1 : ab241985 IP in HEK-293T whole cell lysate.
Lane 2 : Control IgG in HEK-293T whole cell lysate.
Detection : Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.
Lysates prepared in NETN buffer.

Biological function summary
This protein contributes to intracellular functions although not clearly defined. C5orf25 may partake in cellular signaling or structural integrity within specific cells. It does not appear as part of any well-characterized protein complex currently suggesting that it might function independently or as part of transient interactions in cellular biology. This protein’s biological roles could influence how cells respond to stress or maintain their regular operations.
Pathways
Researchers have begun mapping its interactions to various cellular processes. Current findings suggest potential links to signal transduction pathways such as the MAPK signaling. In this context it might interact indirectly with proteins like ERK and MEK known for regulating cell growth and differentiation. Although these connections are still theoretical they form the basis for further investigations into how C5orf25 fits into broader cellular networks.
