The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in 1% bovine serum albumin (BSA). Data represented here are indicative of assay working using example of biological sample. However, we do not guarantee same sensitivity level due to biological variation.

Interpolated concentrations of native Calnexin in human control wild type HEK293T (human embryonic kidney epithelial cell) and CANX (Calnexin) knockout HEK293T cell based on 2.5 µg/mL extract loads. The concentrations of Calnexin were measured and interpolated from the Calnexin standard curve and corrected for sample dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The Calnexin concentration was determined to be 6233.8 pg/mL in wild type HEK293T extract and undetectable in CANX (Calnexin) knockout HEK293T extract (Human CANX (Calnexin) knockout HEK293T cell line ab255368).

Target data

Calcium-binding protein that interacts with newly synthesized monoglucosylated glycoproteins in the endoplasmic reticulum. It may act in assisting protein assembly and/or in the retention within the ER of unassembled protein subunits. It seems to play a major role in the quality control apparatus of the ER by the retention of incorrectly folded proteins. Associated with partial T-cell antigen receptor complexes that escape the ER of immature thymocytes, it may function as a signaling complex regulating thymocyte maturation. Additionally it may play a role in receptor-mediated endocytosis at the synapse.
