Flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes cells labelling CLEC9A with ab270991 at 1/500 dilution (0.1 μg)/ Right compared with a Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) / Left isotype control. Goat anti rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488, ab150077) at 1/2000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.

Cells were stained with rabbit IgG or ab270991, then stained with anti-CD8 conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 647 and anti-CD11c conjugated to PE-Cy5.5.

High expression on CD8 positive DC cells.

Gated on CD11c+ viable cells.

Target data

Functions as an endocytic receptor on a small subset of myeloid cells specialized for the uptake and processing of material from dead cells. Recognizes filamentous form of actin in association with particular actin-binding domains of cytoskeletal proteins, including spectrin, exposed when cell membranes are damaged, and mediate the cross-presentation of dead-cell associated antigens in a Syk-dependent manner.
