Anti-Dectin-1 antibody [EPR25360-19] is a Rabbit Monoclonal antibody that is used in Dectin-1 IHC-P. Suitable for Mouse samples.
Dectin-1, a C-type lectin receptor, plays a dual role by modulating both pro-tumor and anti-tumor immune responses. It enhances immune responses against tumors like melanoma and breast cancer by activating innate and adaptive immunity. However, in cancers such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and colorectal cancer, Dectin-1 activation can suppress T cell immunity, facilitating tumor progression. This dual functionality makes Dectin-1 a complex but promising target for cancer immunotherapy.

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) - Anti-Dectin-1 antibody [EPR25360-19] (AB300497)
Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Mouse lung cancer tissue labeling Dectin-1 with ab300497 at 1/500 (1.06 ug/ml) followed by a ready to use LeicaDS9800 (Bond Polymer Refine Detection) was used. Positive staining on mouse lung cancer. The section was incubated with ab300497 for 30 mins at room temperature. The immunostaining was performed on a Leica Biosystems BOND® RX instrument Counterstained with Hematoxylin. Secondary antibody only control : Secondary antibody is a ready to use LeicaDS9800 (Bond Polymer Refine Detection) was used.Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0, epitope retrieval solution2) for 20 mins
