Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded (A) HEK-293T (human embryonic kidney epithelial cell) transfected with a mouse Clec6a expression vector containing a Myc-His tag and (B) HEK-293T transfected with empty vector containing a Myc-His tag tissue labeling DECTIN 2 with ab323860 at 1/2000 dilution (0.263 ug/ml), followed by a ready to use LeicaDS9800 (Bond™ Polymer Refine Detection).

Positive staining on HEK-293T transfected with a Myc-His-tagged mouse Clec6a construct (A) and no staining on (B) HEK-293T transfected with empty vector containing a Myc-His tag. The primary antibody was incubated for 30 mins at room temperature.
The immunostaining was performed on a Leica Biosystems BOND® RX instrument.

Counterstained with Hematoxylin.

Secondary antibody only control : Secondary antibody is a ready to use LeicaDS9800 (Bond™ Polymer Refine Detection).

Calcium-dependent lectin that acts as a pattern recognition receptor (PRR) of the innate immune system : specifically recognizes and binds alpha-mannans on C.albicans hypheas (PubMed : 17050534, PubMed : 19703985, PubMed : 20493731).
