We have systematically measured KD (the equilibrium dissociation constant between the antibody and its antigen), of more than 840 recombinant antibodies to assess not only their individual KD values but also to see the average affinity of antibody. Based on the comparison with published literature values for mouse monoclonal antibodies, Recombinant antibodies appear to be on average 1-2 order of magnitude higher affinity.

DENN domain proteins facilitate critical processes such as endocytic recycling autophagy and transport processes within cells. These proteins belong to a complex containing multiple subunits that coordinate the activation of Rab GTPases. Through these activities DENN proteins ensure proper membrane trafficking dynamics and cellular organization integral to maintaining cell function.
Pathways
DENN proteins participate in cellular pathways like endocytic recycling and autophagy. In the endocytic pathway DENN proteins regulate Rab GTPases such as Rab5 and Rab7 controlling vesicle formation and movement. They also play a part in mTOR signaling influencing cell growth and autophagy regulation. By interacting with these key pathways DENN domain proteins help to integrate signals and coordinate cellular responses to environmental changes.
