E4F1 also known as adenovirus E4 promoter-binding protein 1 is a transcriptional regulator with a molecular mass of approximately 120 kDa. This protein is expressed in both the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells. E4F1 plays an essential role in regulating gene expression by modulating transcription factors and interacting with DNA. It is known for its ability to bind to promoters influencing the transcriptional initiation of target genes.
