Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - Anti-FOXP2 Antibody (AB327169)

Immunofluorescent staining of human cell line HEK 293 using ab327169 at 0.25–2 µg/ml, showing localization to nucleoplasm.

Supplier Data

ChIP - Anti-FOXP2 Antibody (AB327169)

ChIP-Exo-Seq composite graph for ab327169 tested in K562 cells at 1–10 µg per reaction. Strand-specific reads (blue : forward, red : reverse) and IgG controls (black : forward, grey : reverse) are plotted against the distance from a composite set of reference binding sites. The antibody exhibits robust target enrichment compared to a non-specific IgG control and precisely reveals its structural organization around the binding site. Data generated by Prof. B. F. Pugh´s Lab at Cornell University.

Target data

Transcriptional repressor that may play a role in the specification and differentiation of lung epithelium. May also play a role in developing neural, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular tissues. Can act with CTBP1 to synergistically repress transcription but CTPBP1 is not essential. Plays a role in synapse formation by regulating SRPX2 levels. Involved in neural mechanisms mediating the development of speech and language.
