Activity summary

GIMAP6 also known as GTPase IMAP family member 6 plays a significant role in cellular mechanisms. It is a small GTPase with a molecular mass of approximately 33 kDa. GIMAP6 is highly expressed in immune-related tissues particularly in lymphoid organs such as the spleen and lymph nodes. Unlike some proteins with widespread expression the presence of GIMAP6 seems more restricted to specific immune cells indicating its specialized functions in the immune system.
