- - Long-term security of supply
- - Animal-free batch production
For more information, read more on recombinant antibodies.
Conjugation ready
Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.
Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with 1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.
Compatibility
This product is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm, without the need for antibody preparation. Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.

Biological function summary
The HCoV-OC43 Nucleoprotein participates in forming complexes with viral RNA and other viral proteins. These interactions facilitate the replication cycle of HCoV-OC43 by regulating RNA transcription and synthesis. Additionally it is known to induce host responses influencing cellular processes and immune evasion mechanisms. This interaction with the host's cellular machinery enables the virus to establish infection and maintain its replication efficiency.
Pathways
HCoV-OC43 Nucleoprotein participates in essential viral life cycle pathways specifically in the replication and transcription complex formation. This protein associates with other viral entities like the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase and matrix protein M. Together they ensure the synthesis of subgenomic mRNA and full-length genomic RNAn important for the successful production of new virions. Understanding these pathways helps clarify how coronaviruses like HCoV-OC43 propagate and sustain infection within host cells.
