Product details

Patented technology
Our RabMAb® technology is a patented hybridoma-based technology for making rabbit monoclonal antibodies. For details on our patents, please refer to RabMAb® patents.

What are the advantages of a recombinant monoclonal antibody?
This product is a recombinant monoclonal antibody, which offers several advantages including:

  • - High batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility
  • - Improved sensitivity and specificity
  • - Long-term security of supply
  • - Animal-free batch production

For more information, read more on recombinant antibodies.

Conjugation ready
Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.

Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with 1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.

Compatibility
This product is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm, without the need for antibody preparation. Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.

Supplementary information

This supplementary information is collated from multiple sources and compiled automatically.

The homeobox protein A10 (HOXA10) also known as HOX1H is a transcription factor with important functions in gene regulation. HOXA10 has a molecular mass of approximately 38 kDa. It is part of the homeobox gene family and is expressed predominantly in the developing uterus and the hematopoietic system. This expression pattern indicates its role in development and differentiation processes particularly in these tissues where it controls several developmental genes.
Biological function summary

HOXA10 is involved in developmental regulation of gene expression. It acts as a transcription factor and binds to DNA sequences to regulate expression of target genes necessary for proper morphogenesis. HOXA10 often operates within multi-protein complexes cooperating with other proteins to exert its function efficiently. By orchestrating gene transcription HOXA10 contributes to the formation and development of certain organs and tissues.

Pathways

The regulatory role of HOXA10 is evident in the Wnt and ERK signaling pathways. These pathways involve critical development and morphogenesis functions where HOXA10 acts as a transcriptional regulator. In the Wnt pathway HOXA10 interacts with proteins like β-catenin to influence cell fate decisions. In the ERK pathway it influences cellular proliferation and differentiation processes integrating signals that contribute to organ development.

HOXA10 has been associated with infertility and certain forms of leukemia. Mutations or altered expression of HOXA10 can disrupt normal uterine development leading to infertility issues. Additionally aberrations in HOXA10 expression are linked with leukemia where its interaction with proteins like MEIS1 alters cell cycle regulation and contributes to oncogenic transformation. Understanding these disease associations offers potential therapeutic targets for managing these conditions.
