Target data

Function

Cyclin which controls both the G1/S and the G2/M transition phases of the cell cycle. Functions through the formation of specific serine/threonine protein kinase holoenzyme complexes with the cyclin-dependent protein kinases CDK1 or CDK2. The cyclin subunit confers the substrate specificity of these complexes and differentially interacts with and activates CDK1 and CDK2 throughout the cell cycle.

    Western blot - HRP Anti-Cyclin A2 antibody [E399] (ab193598)

This blot was produced using a 4-12% Bis-tris gel under the MOPS buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 50 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 3% milk before being incubated with ab193598 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was visualised using ECL development solution ECL Substrate Kit (High Sensitivity) ab133406.

    All lanes: Western blot - HRP Anti-Cyclin A2 antibody [E399] (ab193598) at 1/1000 dilution

All lanes: Western blot - HeLa whole cell lysate (HeLa whole cell lysate ab150035) at 10 µg

    Developed using the ECL technique.

    Performed under reducing conditions.

    Predicted band size: 49 kDa

    Observed band size: 52 kDa

    Exposure time: 20min
