Function

Granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factors are cytokines that act in hematopoiesis by controlling the production, differentiation, and function of 2 related white cell populations of the blood, the granulocytes and the monocytes-macrophages. This CSF induces granulocytes.

    Western blot - HRP Anti-G-CSF antibody [EPR3203(N)(B)] (ab199457)

This blot was produced using a 4-12% Bis-tris gel under the MES buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 35 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 2% Bovine Serum Albumin before being incubated with ab199457 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was visualised using ECL development solution ECL Substrate Kit (High Sensitivity) ab133406.

All lanes: Western blot - HRP Anti-G-CSF antibody [EPR3203(N)(B)] (ab199457) at 1/5000 dilution

All lanes: K-562 (Human erythromyeloblastoid leukemia cell line) Whole Cell Lysate (ab76827) at 10 µg

    Developed using the ECL technique.

    Performed under reducing conditions.

    Predicted band size: 22 kDa

    Observed band size: 26 kDa

    Exposure time: 30s
