Target data

Function

Plays a central role in the biogenesis of melanosomes. Involved in the maturation of melanosomes from stage I to II. The transition from stage I melanosomes to stage II melanosomes involves an elongation of the vesicle, and the appearance within of distinct fibrillar structures. Release of the soluble form, ME20-S, could protect tumor cells from antibody mediated immunity.

    Western blot - HRP Anti-Melanoma gp100 antibody [EPR4864] (ab206094)

This blot was produced using a 4-12% Bis-tris gel under the MOPS buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 50 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 3% milk before being incubated with ab206094 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was visualised using ECL development solution ECL Substrate Kit (High Sensitivity) ab133406.

    All lanes: Western blot - HRP Anti-Melanoma gp100 antibody [EPR4864] (ab206094) at 1/500 dilution

All lanes: Melanoma (Human) Tissue Lysate at 10 µg

    Developed using the ECL technique.

    Performed under reducing conditions.

    Predicted band size: 70 kDa

    Observed band size: 90 kDa

    Exposure time: 4min
