Recognises proteins methylated on lysine residues (mono and dimethy-lysine). Does not cross react with acetylated proteins.
Affinity purified using methyl-lysine and di-methyl-lysine on agarose
This antibody can be used for detection, quantification and isolation of proteins containing methylated lysine residues. Direct labelling of this primary antibody with HRP means that secondary antibody conjugates are not required.
Reductive amination with HRP to antibody molar ratio of 2:1.
