Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - Anti-INO80C antibody (AB151046)
ab151046 staining INO80C in Mouse paraffin-fixed tissue sections by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/100 in Goat serum) for 24 hours at 4°C. An Alexa Fluor® 555-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG polyclonal (1/125) was used as the secondary antibody. Red - INO80C, Blue (DAPI) - nuclei.

Biological function summary
INO80C is involved in maintaining genome stability and is an important player in DNA repair processes. It forms part of the multi-subunit INO80 complex a member of the ATP-dependent chromatin-remodeling family. This complex facilitates the repair of DNA double-strand breaks by promoting homologous recombination a precise DNA repair mechanism. INO80C's role in the complex also supports DNA replication and transcription regulation indicating its importance in cell cycle progression.
Pathways
INO80C is involved in the DNA damage response and repair pathway as well as the transcriptional regulation pathway. Within these pathways INO80C interacts with other proteins such as RAD51 and BRCA1 to assist in the repair of double-strand breaks. It also influences the transcriptional activities by affecting RNA polymerase II-mediated transcription initiation. The interactions with these proteins help integrate INO80C's function into broader cellular responses to DNA damage and gene expression.
