The Integrator complex is associated with the C-terminal domain (CTD) of RNA polymerase II largest subunit (POLR2A) and is recruited to the U1 and U2 snRNAs genes. Mediates the snRNAs 3' cleavage. INTS11 also known as Integrator Complex Subunit 11 is an important component of the integrator complex involved in transcriptional regulation. It weighs approximately 52 kDa. INTS11 shows expression in various tissues with higher levels in testis brain and skeletal muscle. It acts as a subunit of the Integrator complex playing a role in the processing of small nuclear RNA (snRNA).
