ISCA2 also known as Iron-Sulfur Cluster Assembly 2 is a protein involved in the assembly of iron-sulfur clusters essential for various cellular processes. This protein has a molecular weight of approximately 14 kDa. ISCA2 is expressed in numerous tissues including the heart liver and skeletal muscles. It plays a fundamental role in the synthesis of these clusters which are integral for electron transfer and enzymatic reactions.

The protein ISCA2 participates in the maturation of iron-sulfur cluster-containing proteins critical for mitochondrial function.
