This data was developed using ab313616, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation. Blocking and diluting buffer and concentration : 5% NFDM/TBST The bands beneath the target band (180 kDa) are likely to be degraded target fragments. Lysates were freshly made and used immediately to minimize protein degradation.

The protein serves as a bridge between nuclear receptors and the transcriptional machinery effectively enhancing transcription upon binding. It also plays a role in steroid hormone responses impacting pathways involved in metabolism and inflammation.

KAT13A participates in the steroid hormone receptor signaling pathway and the PPAR signaling pathway. Within these pathways it interacts with proteins such as the estrogen receptor and PPAR-alpha contributing to energy homeostasis and regulating lipid metabolism.
