Product details

ab284843 is the carrier-free version of ab189250

Patented technology
Our RabMAb® technology is a patented hybridoma-based technology for making rabbit monoclonal antibodies. For details on our patents, please refer to RabMAb® patents.

Conjugation ready
Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.

Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with 1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.

Compatibility
This product is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm, without the need for antibody preparation. Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.

Supplementary information

This supplementary information is collated from multiple sources and compiled automatically.

LRRC49 also known as Leucine Rich Repeat Containing 49 is a protein that plays a role in cellular processes through its structural features. The protein consists of leucine-rich repeats which facilitate protein-protein interactions. LRRC49 carries an approximate molecular mass of 71 kDa. Expression of LRRC49 is observed in various tissues including the brain heart and skeletal muscle. This widespread expression suggests a role in multiple physiological contexts.
Biological function summary

LRRC49 influences cellular differentiation and signaling pathways. It functions as part of larger protein complexes possibly enhancing its ability to modulate cellular functions. These interactions allow LRRC49 to regulate mechanisms important for maintaining cellular stability and adaptation potentially affecting cellular responses to environmental changes.

Pathways

LRRC49 integrates into the Wnt signaling and Notch signaling pathways both important for cell development and communication. It interacts with other proteins such as Dishevelled proteins in the Wnt pathway and possibly with Notch receptors in the Notch pathway. These interactions contribute to maintaining the balance between cell proliferation and differentiation essential for tissue and organ development.

LRRC49 may have implications in cardiac hypertrophy and certain neurological disorders. Studies suggest that abnormal expression of LRRC49 contributes to the pathophysiology of these conditions. Connections between LRRC49 and proteins like cardiomyocyte enhancer factor 2 (MEF2) in cardiac hypertrophy show potential pathways through which the protein modulates disease development. Understanding these associations aids in identifying therapeutic targets for related disorders.
