Western blot - Anti-LRRK2 antibody [N241A/34] - Chicken IgY (Chimeric) (AB325673)

Western blotting of mock transfected and LRRK2-FLAG transfected COS-7 lysates with an anti-LRRK2/Dardarin mouse Mab and ab325673 at a 1 : 1000 dilution. The mouse Mab and ab325673 were detected with anti-mouse-HRP and anti-chicken-HRP, respectively. The antibody recognizes exogenous LRRK2 with similar sensitivity as the anti-LRRK2 mouse Mab only in LRRK2-FLAG transfected COS-7 lysates at >200kDa.

This recombinant antibody is a chimeric antibody created by replacing the mouse heavy and light constant regions of clone N241A/34 with chicken IgY heavy and light constant regions. As such this antibody retains the same binding performance as the original clone N241A/34 but can be detected using standard anti-chicken secondary antibodies allowing flexibility for multiplexing applications. This antibody is expressed recombinantly in mammalian cells and then affinity purified from the cell culture media.
