Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - Anti-Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor 4/MGLUR4 Antibody [RP23040220] (AB313416)

Immunofluorescent analysis of HEK293 cells stably transfected with Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor 4/MGLUR4 fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and 0.2% picric acid in phosphate buffer (pH 6.9) for 30 min at room temperature and washed several times with phosphate buffer, then permeabilized with ice-cold methanol and then incubated with ab313416 at 1 µg/mL concentration, labeling Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor 4/MGLUR4 followed by Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated secondary antibody for 2 h at room temperature, mounted and examined using a laser scanning confocal microscope.

Product details

What are recombinant multiclonals?
Recombinant multiclonals are a mixture of recombinant antibodies co-expressed from a library of heavy and light chains. They offer several advantages including:

  • - The sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies by recognising multiple epitopes
  • - High batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility
  • - Improved sensitivity and specificity
  • - Long-term security of supply
  • - Animal-free batch production

Product protocols

For this product, it's our understanding that no specific protocols are required. You can visit:

Target data

G-protein coupled receptor for glutamate. Ligand binding causes a conformation change that triggers signaling via guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) and modulates the activity of down-stream effectors. Signaling inhibits adenylate cyclase activity.
