ChIP - Anti-OLIG2 Antibody (AB327177)

ChIP-Exo-Seq composite graph for ab327177 tested in K562 cells at 1–10 µg per reaction. Strand-specific reads (blue : forward, red : reverse) and IgG controls (black : forward, grey : reverse) are plotted against the distance from a composite set of reference binding sites. The antibody exhibits robust target enrichment compared to a non-specific IgG control and precisely reveals its structural organization around the binding site. Data generated by Prof. B. F. Pugh´s Lab at Cornell University.

Target data

Required for oligodendrocyte and motor neuron specification in the spinal cord, as well as for the development of somatic motor neurons in the hindbrain. Functions together with ZNF488 to promote oligodendrocyte differentiation. Cooperates with OLIG1 to establish the pMN domain of the embryonic neural tube. Antagonist of V2 interneuron and of NKX2-2-induced V3 interneuron development.
