PAC-4 also known as Protein Asephin C-4 is a protein involved mechanically in cellular processes within organisms. It has a known molecular mass of approximately 45 kDa. Researchers have noted its expression primarily in epithelial cells lymphocytes and other immune system-related tissues. This localization emphasizes its role within immune responses and cellular maintenance.
PAC-4 plays a part in cell signaling and immune function regulation. It is associated with specific protein complexes that modulate signal transduction which affects immune activities.
