Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - Anti-PARD6B antibody (AB234786)

4% formaldehyde-fixed, 2% Triton X-100 permeabilized HepG2 (human liver hepatocellular carcinoma cell line) cells stained for PARD6B using ab234786 at 1/108 dilution in ICC/IF, followed by Alexa Fluor 488® congugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L).

Counter-stained with DAPI. 10% normal goat serum was used as blocking solution.

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) - Anti-PARD6B antibody (AB234786)

Paraffin-embedded human liver cancer tissue stained for PARD6B using ab234786 at 1/325 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis. Antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum for 30 minutes at room temperature. The primary antibody was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody.

Target data

Adapter protein involved in asymmetrical cell division and cell polarization processes. Probably involved in formation of epithelial tight junctions. Association with PARD3 may prevent the interaction of PARD3 with F11R/JAM1, thereby preventing tight junction assembly. The PARD6-PARD3 complex links GTP-bound Rho small GTPases to atypical protein kinase C proteins.
