ab200038 Immunoprecipitating PCGF6 in F9(mouse embryonal carcinoma) whole cell lysate. 350μg of cell lysate was incubated with primary antibody (2 μg/ml). For western blotting ab200038 (1/1000) was used to confirm successful immunoprecipation. For detection VeriBlot for IP Detection Reagent (HRP) (ab131366) was used at 1/1000.

PCGF6 also known as Polycomb group RING finger protein 6 plays a role in regulating gene expression. This protein with a molecular mass of about 36 kDa is part of the Polycomb Group (PcG) proteins that epigenetically silence genes preventing their expression. Component of a Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, a complex class required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, throughout development.
