Immunofluorescent analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed, 0.1% Triton X-100 permeabilized F9 (Mouse embryonic testicular cancer cell line) cells labeling PCGF6 with ab200038 at 1/100 dilution, followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) (ab150077) secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution (green). Confocal image showing nuclear staining on F9 cells. The nuclear counterstain is DAPI (blue).
Tubulin is detected with Anti-alpha Tubulin mouse MAb (ab7291) at 1/1000 dilution, followed by Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 594) (ab150120) secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution (red).
The negative controls are as follows : -
-ve control 1 : ab200038 at 1/100 dilution, followed by Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 594) (ab150120) secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution.

ab200038 Immunoprecipitating PCGF6 in F9 (mouse embryonal carcinoma) whole cell lysate. 350μg of cell lysate was incubated with primary antibody (2 μg/ml). For western blotting, ab200038 (1/1000) was used to confirm successful immunoprecipation. For detection VeriBlot for IP Detection Reagent (HRP) (ab131366) was used at 1/1000.

Biological function summary
PCGF6 participates in transcriptional repression through its involvement in the non-canonical Polycomb Repressive Complex 1 (PRC1). The protein acts by aiding the assembly of PRC1 alongside other constituents such as RING1B to modify histones and maintain stem cell characteristics. This activity is important for cell differentiation and maintaining the balance between pluripotency and lineage specification during development.
