PDCD2L also known as Programmed Cell Death 2-Like protein is an important player in the regulation of apoptosis. This protein has a molecular mass of approximately 47 kDa. PDCD2L is mainly expressed in various human tissues including the liver lung and spleen. The protein demonstrates specificity in these tissues hinting at its significant role in normal cellular function. Its localized expression affects how the cells respond to stress or signals that trigger cell cycle regulation.
Biological function summary
