This data was developed using ab307098, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation. Blocking and diluting buffer and concentration : 5% NFDM/TBST. Low expression : liver, brain (PMID : 9337861). The expression molecular weight observed is consistent with what has been described in the literature (PMID : 8662856). Exposure times : Lane 1 : 59 seconds Lane 2-9 : 3 minutes

This enzyme family modulates intracellular signaling cascades influencing processes such as cell growth survival and metabolism. Cpk forms part of a larger complex that interacts with adaptor proteins facilitating its recruitment to cellular membranes. This interaction is important for its signaling activity and function in maintaining cellular equilibrium.
Pathways
PI 3 Kinase Class 2A plays an integral role in the insulin signaling pathway and the TOR signaling pathway. In the insulin pathway it collaborates with proteins like Akt to modulate glucose uptake and storage in cells. Similarly in the TOR pathway Cpk contributes to nutrient sensing and cell growth regulation interconnected with proteins such as mTOR affecting protein synthesis and autophagy.
