PMF-1 was immunoprecipitated from 1mg of HeLa (Human epithelial cells from cervix adenocarcinoma) whole cell extract with ab179466 at 1/80 (or 5 μg). Western blot was performed using ab199531 at 1/1000. Anti-Rabbit IgG (HRP), specific to the non-reduced form of IgG, was used as secondary antibody at 1/1500 dilution.

PMF-1 also recognized as Polyamine-modulated factor 1 is a protein with a molecular mass of around 63 kDa. It plays a mechanical role in transcriptional regulation by interacting with other proteins and DNA sequences. PMF-1 is expressed mainly in the nucleus of cells across various tissues. It partners with other transcription factors modulating gene expression essential for cellular growth and differentiation. This interaction underlines its importance in transcriptional control.
Biological function summary

PMF-1 engages in modifying transcriptional responses by forming part of the TCF/LEF transcription factor complex. This complex influences the expression of genes involved in cellular proliferation and differentiation.
