Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - Anti-POU Domain 2 antibody [6G6AC11] (AB201325)

Immunocytochemistry analysis in neuroblast nuclei from Drosophila stage 10 embryos. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde for 25 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100/PBS, and blocked in 0.1% Triton X-100/PBS, 2.5% Normal Goat Serum, 2.5% Normal Donkey Serum. The POU Domain 2 stain used ab201325 at 9 μg/mL, overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody used was Alexa488 conjugated goat anti-rat at 1 : 400.

Target data

DNA-binding regulatory protein implicated in early development. Involved in neuronal cell fate decision. May act as an octamer-dependent activator of transcription. Could also play an early role in specific ectodermal cells, and a subsequent role in the embryonic nervous system.
