Ligand-activated transcription factor key mediator of energy metabolism in adipose tissues (PubMed:35675826). Receptor that binds peroxisome proliferators such as hypolipidemic drugs and fatty acids. Has a preference for poly-unsaturated fatty acids, such as gamma-linoleic acid and eicosapentanoic acid. Once activated by a ligand, the receptor binds to promoter elements of target genes. PPAR delta was immunoprecipitated from 0.35 mg of NIH/3T3 (Mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line) whole cell lysate with Anti-PPAR delta antibody [EPR18517] ab178866 at 1/20 dilution. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using Anti-PPAR delta antibody [EPR18517] ab178866 at 1/1000 dilution. VeriBlot for IP Detection Reagent (HRP) (VeriBlot for IP Detection Reagent (HRP) ab131366), was used for detection at 1/10000 dilution.
Lane 1: NIH/3T3 whole cell lysate, 10μg (Input).
Lane 2: Anti-PPAR delta antibody [EPR18517] ab178866 IP in NIH/3T3 whole cell lysate.
Lane 3: Rabbit IgG,monoclonal [EPR25A]-Isotype Control (Rabbit IgG, monoclonal [EPR25A] - Isotype Control ab172730) instead of Anti-PPAR delta antibody [EPR18517] ab178866 in NIH/3T3 whole cell lysate.
Blocking and dilution buffer and concentration: 5% NFDM/TBST.
