PRICKLE3 also known by other names such as Prickle-like protein 3 and Testis expressed protein 44 (TEX44) is a protein characterized by its mechanistic roles related to cellular signaling. It is a part of the Prickle family which is known for planar cell polarity functions. PRICKLE3 weighs approximately 60 kDa. Expression of PRICKLE3 is noted in various tissues with higher expression in brain and testis where it likely participates in critical cellular activities.
PRICKLE3 serves critical functions in cellular orientation and signaling pathways that are important for development and differentiation.
