Supplier Data

Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - Anti-RASSF7 antibody (AB237617)

HepG2 (human liver hepatocellular carcinoma cell line) cells stained for RASSF7 (green) using ab237617 at 1/133 dilution in ICC/IF, followed by Alexa Fluor 488-congugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) secondary antibody.

The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. Counterstained with DAPI.

Target data

Negatively regulates stress-induced JNK activation and apoptosis by promoting MAP2K7 phosphorylation and inhibiting its ability to activate JNK. Following prolonged stress, anti-apoptotic effect stops because of degradation of RASSF7 protein via the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Required for the activation of AURKB and chromosomal congression during mitosis where it stimulates microtubule polymerization.
