Western blot - Anti-SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) nsp11 antibody [HL2388] (AB317214)
Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 ug) were separated by 15% SDS-PAGE and the membrane was blotted with ab317214 diluted at 1 : 5000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Biological function summary
The function of nsp11 remains less well-characterized compared to other non-structural proteins. However it is involved in the early stages of viral RNA synthesis hinting at a role in replication or transcription regulation. Nsp11 forms part of the replication-transcription complex a multi-subunit protein assembly essential for the virus to replicate its genome inside the host cell. This complex interacts with other non-structural proteins like nsp7 nsp8 and nsp12 showing its close association within the functional viral replication system.
Pathways
Nsp11 is engaged in the virus-host interaction pathway and the viral lifecycle pathway. It interacts indirectly with host cellular processes although the precise mechanisms remain under investigation. The viral lifecycle pathway involves proteins such as nsp12 (the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase) and nsp13 (the helicase) which work together to synthesize the viral RNA demonstrating the interconnected nature of nsp11 within the larger replication machinery. It likely helps facilitate the proper assembly or function of these complexes although more specific roles need clarity.
