SH3BGRL3 also known as SH3 domain binding glutamic acid-rich protein-like 3 is a small protein with a molecular mass of approximately 17 kDa. This protein is expressed in a variety of tissues including the liver heart and muscle. It contains an SH3 binding domain known to interact with SH3 domains of other proteins providing a regulatory mechanism in cell signaling. The protein is also highly expressed in certain tumor cells indicating its potential role in cellular transformation and cancer.
