Immunoprecipitation - Anti-SNX17 antibody [EPR26025-45] (AB307513)

SNX17 was immunoprecipitated from 0.35 mg HeLa (human cervix adenocarcinoma epithelial cell) whole cell lysate 10 ug with ab307513 at 1/30 dilution (2ug in 0.35mg lysates). Western blot was performed on the immunoprecipitate using ab307513 at 1/1000 dilution. VeriBlot for IP secondary antibody (HRP) (ab131366) was used at 1/5000 dilution.

Lane 1 : HeLa (human cervix adenocarcinoma epithelial cell) whole cell lysate 10 ug
Lane 2 : ab307513 IP in HeLa whole cell lysate
Lane 3 : Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) instead of ab307513 in HeLa whole cell lysate

Blocking and dilution buffer and concentration : 5% NFDM/TBST.

Target data

Critical regulator of endosomal recycling of numerous surface proteins, including integrins, signaling receptor and channels (PubMed : 15121882, PubMed : 15769472). Binds to NPxY sequences in the cytoplasmic tails of target cargos (PubMed : 21512128). Associates with retriever and CCC complexes to prevent lysosomal degradation and promote cell surface recycling of numerous cargos such as integrins ITGB1, ITGB5 and their associated alpha subunits (PubMed : 22492727, PubMed : 28892079). Also required for maintenance of normal cell surface levels of APP and LRP1 (PubMed : 16712798, PubMed : 19005208). Interacts with membranes containing phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate (PtdIns(3P)) (PubMed : 16712798).
