Immunoprecipitation - Anti-SRP9 antibody (AB241989)

SRP9 was immunoprecipitated from HEK-293T (human epithelial cell line from embryonic kidney transformed with large T antigen) whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) using ab241989 at 6 μg per reaction. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab241989 at 1 μg/ml.

Lane 1 : ab241989 IP in HEK-293T whole cell lysate.
Lane 2 : Control IgG in HEK-293T whole cell lysate.

Detection : Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Prepared using NETN lysis buffer.

Target data

Component of the signal recognition particle (SRP) complex, a ribonucleoprotein complex that mediates the cotranslational targeting of secretory and membrane proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) (By similarity). SRP9 together with SRP14 and the Alu portion of the SRP RNA, constitutes the elongation arrest domain of SRP (PubMed : 11089964). The complex of SRP9 and SRP14 is required for SRP RNA binding (By similarity).
