Talin 1 and Talin 2 also known as TLN1 and TLN2 are large cytoskeletal proteins with masses of approximately 270 kDa each. They act as mechanosensitive linkers that connect integrins to the actin cytoskeleton. Talins are critical for regulating cell adhesion migration and signaling.
