Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - Anti-TRAF5 antibody [EPR26205-1] - BSA and Azide free (AB303523)
This data was developed using ab303522, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation. Immunofluorescent analysis of 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed, 0.1% TritonX-100 permeabilized SW620 (human colorectal adenocarcinoma epithelial cell) cells labelling TRAF5 with ab303522 at 1/50 (10.0 ug/ml) dilution, followed by ab150081 Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) preadsorbed antibody at 1/1000 2ug/ml dilution (Green). Confocal image showing cytoplasmic staining in SW620 cell line.Image was taken with a confocal microscope (Leica-Microsystems, TCS SP8). is observed. ab195889 Anti-alpha Tubulin mouse monoclonal antibody - Microtubule Marker (Alexa Fluor® 594) was used to counterstain tubulin at 1/200 2.5ug/ml dilution (Red). The Nuclear counterstain was DAPI (Blue). Secondary antibody only control : Secondary antibody is ab150081 Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) preadsorbed at 1/1000 2ug/ml dilution.

Western blot - Anti-TRAF5 antibody [EPR26205-1] - BSA and Azide free (AB303523)
This data was developed using ab303522, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.
Blocking and dilution buffer and concentration : 5% NFDM/TBST
The identity of the bands observed at a MW >200 kDa in tissues is unknown.
This blot was developed using a high sensitivity ECL substrate. The high-sensitivity ECL substrate used allows for the detection of proteins in the mid-femtogram range.

Product details
Patented technology
Our RabMAb® technology is a patented hybridoma-based technology for making rabbit monoclonal antibodies. For details on our patents, please refer to RabMAb® patents.
What are the advantages of a recombinant monoclonal antibody?
This product is a recombinant monoclonal antibody, which offers several advantages including:
- - High batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility
- - Improved sensitivity and specificity
- - Long-term security of supply
- - Animal-free batch production
For more information, read more on recombinant antibodies.
Conjugation ready
Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.
Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with 1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.
Compatibility
This product is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm, without the need for antibody preparation. Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.

Biological function summary
TRAF5 influences immune cell functions and inflammatory responses. It forms part of a larger protein complex that regulates the nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) pathway. Through this complex TRAF5 affects the transcription of genes involved in immune responses and cell survival. By modulating these processes TRAF5 helps maintain immune homeostasis and ensures proper immune response.
Pathways
TRAF5 is involved in signaling pathways such as NF-κB and JNK (c-Jun N-terminal kinase) pathways. TRAF5 interacts with proteins like TRAF2 and RIPK1 to propagate signals that lead to activation of these pathways. NF-κB pathway regulates inflammation and immune responses while JNK pathway plays a part in stress responses and apoptosis. The interaction of TRAF5 with these proteins and pathways positions it as an integral part of the immune signaling network.
