ab250389 is the carrier-free version of Anti-TTC27 antibody [EPR13653] ab181162.
Our RabMAb® technology is a patented hybridoma-based technology for making rabbit monoclonal antibodies. For details on our patents, please refer to RabMAb® patents.
This product is a recombinant monoclonal antibody, which offers several advantages including:
For more information, read more on recombinant antibodies.
Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. The carrier-free buffer and high concentration allow for increased conjugation efficiency.
This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.
Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with 1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.
This product is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm, without the need for antibody preparation. Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.
TTC27 also known as Tetratricopeptide Repeat Protein 27 is a protein characterized by its tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) domains. The molecular mass of TTC27 is approximately 143 kDa. It is expressed in various tissues with particularly high levels in the brain liver and testes. These TPR domains suggest that TTC27 may be involved in protein-protein interactions functioning as a scaffold for the assembly of multiprotein complexes.
TTC27 plays important roles in cellular processes. It functions as a part of larger multiprotein complexes which indicates its role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and possibly influencing signaling pathways. The protein's distribution in the brain suggests its involvement in neurological functions though detailed mechanisms remain under investigation. TTC27's interaction with other proteins points towards its potential role in regulating cellular signaling and response.
TTC27's involvement in specific signaling pathways highlights its importance in cellular communication. Recent studies have linked TTC27 to the MAPK/ERK pathway a critical pathway for cell proliferation and differentiation. It interacts with proteins such as MEK and ERK facilitating the transmission of extracellular signals to the nucleus. Additionally TTC27 may participate in the NOD-like receptor signaling pathway further influencing immune responses and inflammation processes.
TTC27's function and expression profile suggest potential links to certain conditions. Research indicates a connection between TTC27 and certain cancers where alterations in signaling pathways like MAPK/ERK could contribute to tumorigenesis. The correlation with proteins like ERK involved in cell cycle regulation highlights its role in cancer development. Furthermore TTC27's significant expression in the brain suggests possible involvement in neurological disorders drawing interest in its relationship with proteins implicated in neurodegenerative diseases.
